"Oi!"

Chris Snuggs - Berners/Halls 58-65: "At the end of September 2023 Andrew Bridges sent me a complete copy of "Oi!", which is a magnificent addition to the archives. I was hugely impressed by the variety, interest and quality of this mag, put together by a small group when producing such things was still a real challenge."

Andrew Bridges - Orwell 81-86: "I didn't create it at all. I just contributed two articles and can't remember how or why I came to do that! In December 1983 I would have been 13! The Co Editors were Dave Wright - Hansons 78-85 and Mike 'Mog' Fry - Johnstons 78-84. This comment added a few hours ago from "Paul being Paul" gives more background."

Paul Being Paul: " "What a shocking disaster it was … three or four of us clamoured together in Jim Hyde’s room at the top of Berners to write something, anything in fact, we could to somehow contribute to Michael and David’s brainchild!

Toby’s poem about The Monk was and is fun. My own contribution was pitiable, at best — though I do like the sketch of Arri Ardcastle. We were probably 15 or 16 at the time, I think."
