Chris Snuggs: "I was in his 2B maths class in 59-60. I can only recall that his discipline was poor and he had rather a torrid time. For some reason I associate him with the word "Jipps", a contemporary WHS word meaning "Up yours" or similar., which was popular at the time. Strange that he taught us maths and then went to lecture in Law, and I never knew he was a PhD either! I am not sure I learned much that year, sadly - but that was also my fault; some of us just are no good at maths ....... |
