I very clearly remember him scoring 80 for Woolverstone Park on Berners Field one beautiful summer Sunday. He emigrated to Canada where he had a long and successful career, and a couple of years after leaving WHS he brought a group of kids from his new school for a visit; that was astounding, and I think the only time such a thing ever happened at WHS."   |
