Michael Draper: "The beautiful parkland setting that contained Woolverstone Hall on 7 August 1958 following the sale of approx. 6,000 acres by Oxford University. This photo is of special interest to me as I joined Woolverstone mid-term in November 1957. Interestingly, the nissen huts have gone and the new house blocks are complete. The view also shows the close proximity of St Michael's Church. More than anything else it underlines the flatness of the Suffolk countryside."
