Mark Frost - Hansons 70-77: In May 1977, just before 'A' levels, a couple of mates and I went out for a drink at the Bakers Arms in Harkstead to escape the revision. I had a part-used roll of film in my Kodak Instamatic and I proceeded to take a few random shots as we walked through Holbrook Gardens and along the sunny lanes.
No prizes here for photographic excellence, but a personal reminder of ‘time and place’.
Looking at the name on the negatives reminded me of the 1973 Paul Simon song ‘Kodachrome’, a far more melodic sound coming from the senior dorms than the heavy metal offerings from The Sabs and Led Zep as previously mentioned.
