INTRODUCTION by Mark Frost - Hansons 70-77

I took 'O' level Eng Lit in 1975 and the notes are reproduced
from the year before. I suspect Phil Taylor may  be the author. He joined WH in in his mid-twenties- a graduate of Durham University I think. He was much nearer to us in age than the
older teaching staff, and had a laid-back style, complete with
pipe (not always alight). He taught us 'A' level English Literature
in the Library - we lounging on the soft low chairs and he propped up on a low bookcase.  Neil Clayton had a similar tutorial style when he taught us in his study – easier with a small group.
