28 December, 2024: "Joan Kersey, our oldest former pupil, passed away on 21 August, 2024 at 109. A cherished part of the Ipswich High School family, her warmth and incredible memory inspired many. To honour her, we’ve placed a plaque on the garden sundial — celebrating her remarkable life and lasting legacy."
